Risk disclosure

The one-sentence version Nothing on this site is investment advice, nothing promises returns, and the engine's edge is unproven until its pre-registered public evaluation says otherwise — we say this everywhere, on purpose.

Not advice, not a broker

ArdenAlgo is an informational and educational tool. We are not a licensed investment advisor, broker-dealer or portfolio manager in any jurisdiction. A signal in the ledger is a mechanically derived hypothesis about market structure — it is not a recommendation that you, personally, buy or sell anything. Trading decisions and their outcomes are yours alone; if you need advice, consult someone licensed to give it.

The ledger is paper

No real orders are placed. Paper fills are optimistic about queue position and fast markets; modeled costs (taker fees, slippage, funding) are estimates, and live costs can be worse. A paper result — good or bad — is not an executable return, which is one reason the methodology page lists paper-fill optimism as a limitation rather than burying it.

Edge is unproven — deliberately stated

We do not claim the engine makes money. We claim it is honest — deterministic, non-repainting, publicly logged — and we are testing whether it has edge, in public, against a random-entry benchmark, with the verdict published either way. Until gate G2 resolves, every statistic on this site is descriptive, not evidence of profitability.

Leverage and crypto-market risk

The instruments the engine watches are leveraged derivatives (perpetual futures) on crypto assets: markets that trade around the clock, move violently, and can gap through stops. Leveraged positions can lose more than your initial outlay. Exchange and custody failures are real, additional risks.

Small samples and the past

Until pre-set sample thresholds are reached, the site marks its own data as a small sample. And the oldest rule in the game still applies: past results, paper or real, do not predict future returns.
